Rev. Daniel Gueh
PASTOR
Daniel Garmonyue Gueh was born in Liberia, West Africa in 1975. He and his family moved to the United States by way of Trenton, New Jersey in 1984. He graduated from Trenton High School in 1994, then went on to St. Augustine College in Raleigh, NC for one year. He then chose to enlist in the United States Air Force in 1996, where he served honorably for twenty-one years retiring in February 2017. He obtained an associate’s degree in Logistics Management from the Community College of the Air Force and his bachelor’s degree in Business-Organizational Management from Wilmington University.
After retirement from the Air Force, he purchased and managed a barbershop for four years while he earned his realtor’s license. He works full-time as a Realtor at Hope Realty in Lewes, helping sellers and buyers of real estate throughout the state of Delaware, Georgia, Maryland. Before coming to Mt. Zion, he was a member of Crossroad Christian Church in Dover, DE for twenty years where he served as a minister, deacon, outreach director, and online prayer minister.
He was ordained an Itinerant Deacon in July, 2024 by Bishop Julius Harrison McAllister, Sr., at the 1st District Christian Education Congress. He is married to Tasha Marie Stevens-Gueh, has five children, and is pursuing his Master of Divinity degree at Payne University. He is now the proud pastor of New Zion AME Church in Milton, Delaware.
